CREATOR FUNDING 101

Creators, It's Time to Fund Your Channel: Breeze vs. GigaStar

You've built the audience. Your AdSense is consistent, sponsorships are coming in, your community is loyal — so why does growth still feel slow?

For most established creators, the bottleneck isn't talent. It's capital. This piece breaks down the two most creator-aligned funding tools available right now: Breeze, which turns your AdSense into upfront cash advances with no equity given up, and GigaStar, which lets your community invest directly in your channel's future revenue. Spoiler: they're not competitors. Many creators end up using both.

FROM SCOTT KITUN

Hollywood Just Admitted Creators Are Worth Owning

Scott spent a day at Press Publish LA — Colin and Samir's creator summit on the Fox lot — alongside roughly 700 creators, operators, and studio executives. The headline moment wasn't a keynote. It was a contract: Fox Creator Studios signed Tom Segura and YMH Studios to a deal that splits ownership rather than the traditional studio-owns-everything model.

His takeaway: for 70 years, the deal was talent makes the thing, the studio owns the audience. That deal just died in public. And it's the same pattern capital markets have run before — with music royalties, then sports franchises, and now Creator revenue.

GigaStar's Blog Has a New Home

If you've been following GigaStar content on Medium, it's moved. Everything now lives on the GigaStar Learning Center (aka GigaStar Hub) — and there's a lot more there than the basics. Worth a look if you want to understand how the Creator economy is holding up against recession headwinds and tariff-driven ad pressure, or why industry insiders are starting to call Creator economy assets structurally inevitable.
